THE SCENTS OF TUSCANY

Elevate your Tuscan experience and enter the world of perfumery in the adage studio olfattivo nestled in the hills of vineyards and olive groves along the beautiful Tuscan coast.

The scent studio is the new home to acclaimed New York niche perfumery brand, source adage fragrances, known for its distinct perfumes and home fragances. Small groups are invited to the Riparbella studio to discover perfumery and methods of creating fragrances. The brand founders and “noses”, Christopher Draghi and Robert Dobay, personally introduce the attendees to various essential and fragrance oils and guide them in creating their own unique scents.

There are two main themes explored in the course where you can make your own fragrances for candles, room sprays, or fragrance oil blends. Each inspired by the rich botanical landscapes of the surrounding territory:

THE MACCHIA MEDITERRANEA
Scents that define the beautiful Tuscan coast such as bay leaf, myrtle, lavender, rosemary, sage, cypress and more.

SEASONAL SCENTS
Essential and fragrance oils inspired by the current season along the Tuscan coast such as fig, lavender, citrus flowers and more.

Room Spray from €50/person
Candle from €60/person
Essential Oil blends from €70/person

Groups from 4-10 people. Age from 14 years.
1.5 hours approximately per workshop.
Reservation in advance required.

The workshops include an introduction to and discounts on source adage fragrances. Prosecco and snacks served!

Starting mid June 2026, you can also book lodging in a luxurious 2 bedroom apartment located above the studio with immersive fragrance workshops, excursions to local sites, wine tasting and more!
